March proved to be a busy sale in all sections, especially livestock, as the Stirk section saw a good entry and the new pig section drew more than the previous sale. The machinery section on the car park was very well attended.

Feeding Bulls were again forward in plentiful numbers and trade for these still looks in front of current finished levels. Strong stores a touch easier as the prime trade stutters, but young cattle for grazing are very keenly sought by a huge ringside of purchasers, this trade will take some matching anywhere. A few more breeding cattle on offer, but mainly older outwintered cattle which when calved will probably look value for money.
